The Goals section in ClearPoint offers several views for navigating OKRs — from a personal view of your own goals to account-wide views organized by individual, manager, department, or scorecard. Understanding which view to use helps you find the right goals quickly and see how they connect across your organization.
Accessing Goals
From the left navigation, click Goals to expand the Goals section. You'll see two groups of views: My Goals (personal views) and Goals (account-wide views).

My Goals Views
These views focus on goals that are relevant to you personally.
My Goals
Shows all OKRs assigned to you as the owner. This is the primary view for individual contributors to check progress and update key results.
My Direct Reports
Shows goals assigned to users who report directly to you, grouped by individual. Use this view for one-on-one check-ins and to monitor team progress.
💡 For a user to appear under My Direct Reports, their Manager must be set on their user profile. Administrators can configure this under Settings → Users & Security.
My Department
Shows goals for all users in your department. Useful for department heads who want a consolidated view of their team's OKRs.
💡 For a user to appear under My Department, their Department must be set on their user profile.

Account-Wide Goals Views
These views show OKRs across the entire account, organized in different ways. Administrators and managers use these for a broader picture of goal alignment.
By Individual
Displays all OKRs in the account grouped by the person they're assigned to. Expand any individual to see their goals and key result progress.
By Manager
Groups OKRs by manager, showing each manager alongside the goals of the people they manage. Useful for understanding team-level alignment at a glance.
By Department
Groups OKRs by department. Useful for cross-functional reporting or when presenting OKR progress by business unit.
By Scorecard
Groups OKRs by the scorecard elements they're linked to. Use this view to see which goals are connected to specific strategic measures, objectives, or initiatives.

Goal Trees
Each account-wide view (By Individual, By Manager, By Department, By Scorecard) also has a Goal Trees tab. Goal Trees display a visual hierarchy that shows how goals relate to each other — making it easy to see how individual OKRs cascade up to team or organizational goals.
Switch between the list view and the Goal Trees tab using the tabs at the top of any account-wide Goals view.

Reading the Goals Grid
Every Goals view shares the same grid, so these controls work the same way in My Goals and in the account-wide views.
Expand arrow — the leftmost column of a goal row. Click it to reveal that goal's key results.
Expand and collapse all — the control in the header of that same leftmost column opens or closes every goal at once.
Options menu (⋮) — the next column along. On a goal row it offers Edit Goal and Delete Goal; on a key result row, Edit Key Result and Delete Key Result. It only appears on rows you are allowed to change.
Value — each key result's current value against its target. Type in this field, or use its up and down arrows, to update progress. The coloured fill behind the field shows how far along the key result is; it is an indicator, not a control.
In By Individual and By Manager, each group header shows the person's avatar beside their name. By Department and By Scorecard group by name rather than by person, so those headers show no avatar.
💡 Checkboxes for bulk actions appear on key result rows only. Goal rows use the leftmost column for the expand arrow, so goals cannot be selected in bulk from this grid.
Filtering by Period
All Goals views respect the period selector in the top navigation. Switch reporting periods to see OKRs from a specific quarter or year. Use the Show Archived and Show Deleted toggles to surface goals that are no longer active.
Prerequisites for Full Navigation
To get the most out of the Goals navigation views, ensure the following are configured on each user's profile:
Manager — required for My Direct Reports and By Manager views to show correctly
Department — required for My Department and By Department views to show correctly
Administrators can set these fields under Settings → Users & Security → Edit User → Profile tab.
