The Series Status field provides a quick visual summary of a Measure’s key data series—such as Actual, Target, or Variance.
It displays each series’ value and status for the selected reporting period, helping you identify performance trends and areas for improvement at a glance.

What is the Series Status Field?

The Series Status field displays the current values and status indicators for a Measure’s data series.

  • On a Detail Page, the Series Status pod shows each series’ value for the currently selected reporting period.

  • In a Measure Summary Report, it can display:

    • Values for the current period only, or

    • Multiple periods for trend comparison.

  • Series Status can also be used to create heat maps for visual performance analysis.

💡 Use Series Status to instantly see which Measures are on track, behind, or exceeding targets without opening detailed charts or data tables.

Adding the Series Status Pod to a Detail Page

  1. From the left navigation, click Elements.

  2. Select Measures.

  3. Open the Measure you want to view (e.g., Revenue).

  1. On the Measure Detail Page, click the kebab menu (⋮) and select Edit Layout.

  1. From the left-hand panel, locate Series Status.

  2. Drag and drop the pod to the desired location on the page.

  3. Click Save.

💡 Once added, the Series Status pod dynamically updates when you switch reporting periods or update data values.
