ClearPoint gives you full control over who can view each section of a Detail Page.
By adjusting pod visibility, you can decide which users see specific information, control what appears in exports or presentations, and protect sensitive content when publishing online.

Accessing Pod Visibility Settings

  1. From the left navigation, click Elements.

  2. Select the element type you want to edit (e.g., Objectives).

  3. Open the element’s Detail Page (e.g., Fast Ground Turnaround).

  1. Click the kebab menu (⋮) and select Edit Layout.

  1. In the layout editor, click the kebab menu (⋮) and select Edit Card Visual Settings.

    1. Hide Border & Header

      • Hide Border – Removes the outer border of the pod for a cleaner, minimal look.

      • Hide Header – Hides the pod’s title bar, including the header text and icons.

    2. Hide in Print View

      • Select Hide pod in print view to exclude the pod from PDF exports and Briefing Books.

      • Ideal for hiding visual or interactive content that doesn’t export cleanly to print.

    3. Hide When Published

      • Select Hide pod when published to prevent the pod from displaying on publicly shared reports or dashboards.

      • Use this option to protect sensitive data or internal notes before publishing online.

💡 Pod visibility settings determine how and where the pod appears across ClearPoint’s different viewing modes.

Controlling Pod Access by User Level

You can also restrict pod visibility based on user role level to maintain appropriate data access.

  1. In the Edit Pod Visual Settings drawer, locate the Hide Card by level dropdown.

  2. Choose the user level allowed to view the pod.

    • Example: If you select Scorecard Admin, only Scorecard Admins and higher-level users can see that pod.

  3. Repeat this process for each pod that requires restricted access.

  4. Click Confirm when finished.

💡 The default setting allows all users (except those with no access) to view each pod.

Publishing with Caution

If you publish reports or Detail Pages online, remember:

  • Hidden pods will not display if Hide when published is selected.

  • However, any attachments linked within visible pods will remain publicly accessible.

⚠️ Always review content before publishing to ensure no sensitive data is shared unintentionally.
