ClearPoint allows administrators to set the default currency used across the account. This default is applied when creating new measures or series that use currency-based data types. Setting the correct currency ensures consistency in financial reporting throughout your organization.
Updating the Default Currency
Click Settings from the top navigation.
Select Account Defaults.
Navigate to the Account Options tab.
Use the Default Currency dropdown to select your preferred currency.
Click Save.
Notes
The default currency applies to new measures and series; existing items are not changed automatically.
You can still override the currency type at the individual series level when editing a measure.
This setting helps maintain consistent formatting across reports, dashboards, and exports.
