Trendlines provide visual insights into the direction and rate of change of your data over time.

By adding a trendline, you can highlight underlying patterns in your Measure’s performance and make data-driven decisions more confidently.

Adding a Trendline to a Chart

  1. From the left navigation, click Elements.

  2. Select Measures.

  3. Open the Measure you want to edit (e.g., Average Number of Daily departures per route).

  1. Double click on the chart you are going to work with.

  2. Navigate to the Series tab.

  3. Select the Series you want to modify.

  1. Under Series Type, select Trendline Series.

  2. In the Label field, enter a name for your trendline (e.g., Revenue Trend).

  3. Use the Series Options, adjust appearance settings such as:

    • Shape (e.g., Line, Spline)

    • Marker Type (e.g., Circle, Diamond, None)

    • Color

  4. Click Save.

💡 Trendlines can be styled just like other series—giving you control over how they appear on the chart.
