Each element type—such as Objectives, Measures, and Initiatives—comes with built-in fields (e.g., Owner, Analysis, Recommendations). You can relabel these fields to match your organization’s terminology or hide fields your team doesn’t use.

Renaming a Default Field

In the example below, we’ll rename the Owner field in the Objective element.

  1. From the top navigation, click Settings.

  2. Select Account Defaults.

  1. Navigate to Element Field Labels.

  2. In the list of elements, locate Objective.

  3. In the Custom Label box, enter your desired label.

    • Example: Change OwnerPrimary Reporter

    • Example: Change RecommendationsProposal

  4. (Optional) To hide an update field, check the Hidden box next to it.

  5. Click Save.

💡 Your updated field labels will now display on all Objective Detail pages and throughout ClearPoint wherever those fields appear.
