Linking elements is essential for showing how your organization’s Objectives, Measures, Initiatives, and other elements connect to achieve your strategic goals.
Linked elements help you demonstrate alignment, dependencies, and impact across your strategic plan—all in one place.
Linking Elements from the Manage Elements Page
From the left navigation, click Elements.
Select the element type you want to link (e.g., Objectives).
Click the kebab menu (⋮) and select Edit Objective.
Navigate to the Links tab in the right-hand drawer.
Click Link Element.
Select the element type (e.g., Objective, Measure, Initiative).
Mark the checkbox of the element you want to link.
Click Save.
💡 Use the Links tab to connect related Objectives, Measures, Initiatives, or Risks across scorecards.
Linking Elements from a Detail Page
You can also add or view links directly from an element’s Detail Page.
From the left navigation, click Elements.
Select the element type you want to link (e.g., Objectives).
Open the element’s Detail Page.
Click the kebab menu (⋮) in the top-right corner and select Edit Layout.
In the layout editor, locate Parent or Child cards in the left-hand panel.
Drag it into the desired location on the page layout.
Click Save Layout.
On the Detail Page, click inside the new Parent card to open the linking drawer.
💡 Adding Parent or Child cards to a Detail Page allows you to view and manage linkages directly from the element itself.
